On June 15th I finished my last day as Field Representative for Preservation Delaware, Inc., a position funded under a grant from the Partners in the Field Program of the National Trust for Historic Preservation. Working for Preservation Delaware again has been a great experience and I am very thankful to executive director Terry Graham for bringing me back to Delaware.
On June 16th I was offered a very warm welcome to the Board of Trustees at their quarterly meeting in Lewes. I look forward to working for the organization as a member of the Board of Trustees and hope to be able to continue providing preservation field service assistance from the Delaware State University graduate program in historic preservation. It’s the best way for the students to learn about how preservation really works as a profession. I look forward to continuing the important work of Preservation Delaware to enhancing the quality of life in the First State.
