Membership

Preservation Delaware offers several different types of memberships. Please read through the following for descriptions of each type of member. We hope that you’ll choose to become a member today and help support our preservation efforts in Delaware.  If you are interested in purchasing a membership to Preservation Delaware as a gift, please call 302-322-7100.
To become a member of Preservation Delaware using a credit card, add your membership level below to the shopping cart and follow the instructions. If you prefer to mail a check for your membership, please print the Membership form and mail with payment to:

Individual – Household

Full-time Student ($30); Individual ($40) receives:

  • Annual membership for one person
  • E-newsletters
  • Periodic mailings from Preservation Delaware
  • Discounts on most workshops & programs
  • Invitation to Preservation Delaware’s Annual Meeting and special events

Dual / Household ($60) receives:

  • Annual membership for up to five members of one household
  • E-newsletters
  • Periodic mailings from Preservation Delaware
  • Discounts on most workshops & programs
  • Invitation to Preservation Delaware’s Annual Meeting and special events

Preservation Donor ($200) receives all of the above and:

  • Recognition on PDI’s website

Preservation Patron ($500) receives all of the benefits of Preservation Donor plus:

  • Special recognition at PDI’s Annual Meeting

Cornerstone ($5,000) receives all of the above benefits of Preservation Patron plus:

  • Premier listing on PDI’s website
  • Privilege of hosting a three hour event at Marian Coffin Gardens at Gibraltar (restrictions apply)
  • Invitation for four to special program/event exclusively for Cornerstone and Keystone members

Keystone ($10,000) receives all of the above benefits of Preservation Patron plus:

  • Premier listing on PDI’s website
  • Privilege of hosting a five hour event at Buena Vista (restrictions apply)
  • Invitation for eight to special program/event exclusively for Cornerstone  and Keystone members

Nonprofit – Government

Nonprofit / Government ($60) receives:

  • Annual organizational membership
  • E-newsletters
  • Periodic mailings from Preservation Delaware
  • Invitation for two to Preservation Delaware’s Annual Meeting and special events
  • Opportunity to purchase advertising in PDI’s E-newsletters

Colleague ($150) receives all of the above and:

  • Colleague is a special category of membership for Delaware’s historical societies and nonprofit preservation organizations.
  • Members of our Colleague organizations are entitled to half price Individual and Dual/Household for their first year of PDI membership.
  • In addition, Colleagues will be featured on PDI’s website with links to their organizations’ websites.

For Profit Business:

Business ($125) receives:

  • Annual organizational membership

Heritage Sponsor ($300) receives benefits of basic business membership plus:

  • Listing on the Friends, Colleagues, & Supporters page of PDI’s website

Heritage Partner ($500) receives benefits of basic business membership plus:

  • Your logo and website link on the Friends, Colleagues, & Supporters page of PDI’s website

Heritage Benefactor ($1000) receives benefits of basic business membership plus:

  • Your logo and website link on the Friends, Colleagues, & Supporters page of PDI’s website
  • Complimentary advertising in PDI’s E-newsletters (restrictions apply)

Business Cornerstone Member ($5,000) receives benefits of Heritage Benefactor membership plus:

  • Privilege of hosting a three hour event at Marian Coffin Gardens at Gibraltar (restrictions apply)
  • Invitation for four to special program/event exclusively for Cornerstone and Keystone members

Business Keystone Member ($10,000) receives benefits of Heritage Benefactor membership plus:

  • Privilege of hosting a five hour event at Buena Vista (restrictions apply) OR listed as signature sponsor on all PDI workshop and conference programs
  • Invitation for eight to special program/event exclusively for Cornerstone and Keystone members
Membership Levels

Help us expand our outreach programs and educational initiatives.
Add any or all of the following support categories to any membership level:

Historic Preservation Commissions – $15

  • This support provides training and networking opportunities for Delaware’s Historic Preservation Commissions

Young Preservationists - $15

  • This support provides scholarships, internships and recognition to young people who are helping to save our heritage resources

Heritage Conservation – $15

  • This support provides for hands-on workshops and programs that bring together skilled craftspeople, students of the traditional trades and owners of historic buildings
