The YFOB Host their Annual Meeting at the Gibraltar Gardens -
Friends of any given age who love old buildings and sites are invited to join the YFOB group as they hold their annual meeting at the Marian Coffin Gardens at Gibraltar.  Following the meeting, attendees will have the opportunity to stroll the gardens and mingle with other YFOB and PDI members and friends until 8:30 p.m.  Light refreshments will be provided, and the YFOB invite attendees to bring a bottle of their favorite wine to share.  The event is open to all PDI and YFOB members and their guests.  A donation of $5 is suggested and will go toward garden programs and maintenance.  Please reply to confirm attendance at YFOB_DE@yahoo.com or (302) 651-9617 x10.

Creeps and Critters walking tour -
Thursday October 24^th, the Young Friends once again will haunt the Wilmington and Brandywine Cemetery on a spooky and informative tour, then cross the river to revel at the Brandywine Zoo. Characterized by Out and About Magazine as "an offbeat outing which easily qualifies as one of Delaware’s more innovative parties."  Meet at 6 p.m. sharp at the entrance to the zoo.  Dress is casual with shoes made for walking. The Young Friends of Old Buildings, as part of Preservation Delaware, Inc., will educate, advocate and volunteer throughout the community in an effort to bring preservation to a wider audience so that our rich history will not be lost to future generations.
