Endangered Sites

Preservation Delaware is always concerned about the historic properties and landscape of the entire state of Delaware. The following are endangered sites submitted by concerned citizens who wish to maintain Delaware’s rich cultural and historical heritage by preserving the historic buildings and sites throughout the state. On occasion, Preservation Delaware will submit an endangered site, but in such a case, it will be clearly marked.

Site Excerpt : This house must be saved. If not this one than why any other? I am afraid this house will not be here much longer. The house has no value to its owner, who owns several homes for rentals. I believe it is to be burned by the Millsboro Fire Co. for a practice drill. Burning it down, because that is the easiest thing to do with it. How tragic?
