Advocacy efforts and public policy initiatives are undertaken on the local, state, and federal level.  The goal of these efforts is to build support for incentives and policy changes that will promote a preservation ethic throughout the state, promote the incorporation of an historic preservation component in land use planning and private development, and foster the concept that preservation is an essential element in economic development and community revitalization activities.  We rely on grassroots support and involvement of concerned citizens.  Please check this section often for the latest local, state, and national advocacy alerts.
